The Periodle game is a word-guessing game inspired by Wordle and its many clones. Instead of A to Z, you must predict the spelling of words spelled with elements from Hydrogen to Oganesson on the periodic table.
Due to the fact that some elemental abbreviations contain two letters (instead of one), the total number of letters in any given day's puzzle solution could range from five to ten. The majority of us have become more familiar with five-letter words as a result of Wordle, but we must now review lengthier words.
In addition to increasing the difficulty, Periodle adds an additional mechanic to the mix: orange letters. When a component is highlighted in orange, it indicates that it is present in the solution term but does not exist there. The initial estimate, "Piracy," and the guessed components, "P," "I," and "Ra," as shown in the graphic below, all contain letters from the solution. Nevertheless, given that the answer is "Practical," these particular components are ultimately inaccurate.
