Reversle is an alternate version of Wordle whose layout resembles Crosswordle. You are given the last five-letter solution and must deduce the missing letters based on the shown colors. In place of Crosswordle's daily grid, the reverse Wordle is a great alternative.
How to play the Reversle game?
The problem in Reversle consists of a five-by-five grid with a five-letter word that is shown to the player before the game even begins. The solution is already printed on all of the green tiles in the fifth row, thus the players' task is to determine what other words may be made using the yellow, green, and gray tiles without using any of the other tiles. In contrast to Wordle, Reversle consists of five rows, and instead of guessing in the correct order, you have to guess in the other direction. The tiles that are green and yellow can be considered clues to the solution. You now only have a set amount of time to guess the remaining four incorrect words, which is another significant alteration.
It is possible to find out how to guess on Reversle by applying the rules of Wordle. It is not possible, for instance, to insert a letter into the solution word that is located in a column that is shaded gray or that is immediately above it in a column that is colored yellow. In the same manner, if a green tile labeled "fixed green" appears in the guess rows, the letter that corresponds to it must be entered in those spaces in order for the input to be considered valid. You should also be aware of what occurs on Reversle when your guess is accepted in order to prepare appropriately. If you type in a guess, hit enter to submit it, and the algorithm agrees with it, the entire row will be added to the grid, and you will no longer be able to modify it. The fact that letters might appear anywhere and at any time throughout a game of Reversle means that the way you play the game is not significantly altered by this fact. Have fun!
