Watse is a word game similar to Wordle, however it was made for speakers of Afrikaans. It's basically Wordle, but with a twist: you have to use terms from the Afrikaans language.
In Watse, you have up to six chances to correctly guess a concealed word. Each word in the game can be used as a legal five-letter word in Afrikaans. Players submit their best answers by typing them into the input box and pressing the enter key.
In response to a player's guess, the game's tiles will shift to a new hue. When a word is guessed, its proximity to the correct one is represented by a color change. Watse uses a color system where one color represents characters in the correct position and another color represents letters in the correct position but in the wrong place.
Every day a fresh set of letters is unlocked for use in the game. This increases the game's variety and keeps players coming back every day to see how well they did with their word guesses.
